D1 Grand Prix 2005 USA vs Japan – Driver Search and Practice
The first day three for a long weekend of great drifting from U.S. and Japan Drivers. Teams and drivers got a chance to test their cars and drift the track at Irwindale speedway. This practice before qualifying the next day is essential to tune the cars properly according to this high speed track set up. A few U.S. drivers were able to make the cut and get there D1 license in hopes to qualify for the main event.
